December Movers & Shakers Report
Howdy Visitor, we have some exciting news today! As part of our “ Make 2009 the Year of the Lizard” resolution, we’ve developed and deployed a new look for our very own Tech Lizard Web Design and IT website. The redesign uses our new logo and we’ve really worked hard to trim down the number of links on the site, giving the content that we really want you to see top billing. Perhaps our favorite part of the redesign is the update to the portfolio, which we think makes checking out our work easier than ever.
Keeping this project under wraps has been difficult! We’re often asked what we’re working on and this one was a big secret. We’re pleased with the result and we hope you like it too.
There are thanks to be shared, without naming names, you know who you are. Our thanks goes out to each of you for your help in nailing down the final design, for content review and for multi-browser testing. We learned that it’s funny what you can’t see after you’ve been looking for so long, and with your help we were able to avoid some embarrassing mistakes! Thanks to those who give of their time, 2009 will be the Year of the Lizard! Announcing Vista System and Product Consulting Tech Lizard Web Design and IT is proud to announce the launch of our latest project, Vista System and Product Consulting. Vista SPC is in the business of providing senior engineer consulting services to heavy industry. Vista SPC utilizes their years of experience, both domestic and abroad, to design and install high pressure mill and press systems. The site’s purpose is to provide a presence on the web, as well as to market the offerings of this unique business.
This project is special to us as it confirmed that we are capable of delivering results to businesses anywhere in the world! While the home office of Vista SPC is located here in southeastern Wisconsin, all communications for this project occurred online. Tech Lizard Web Design and IT was initially engaged through a request from our website. The site owner had reviewed the guides in our Resource Center, completed a few exercises to communicate his wishes, and we were able to deliver a site that met those wishes through an online test site and communicating entirely through email.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Lizard New Year As we sipped our warm lizard cider and thawed our snow covered toes by the fire, we reflected on how rewarding it is to be at your service, to be working with such great people and owners of reputable businesses. We hope that your Christmas was as fulfilling as ours and we look forward to what awaits us in the coming new year. As always our best to you, Michele Gilhouse |
